A Night In Earheart by Xavier Garibaldi walked into Earheart, a club that most Eart Force personal would come and hang out after duty shift. Tonight was Karaoke night. The Security Chief walked in slowly, looking for his friend that could possible be in here. Ivanova was the person that he usually see in this place she was always here to unwind before go back to her quarters. Eyes sweeping the room, he finally spotted her in the dark corner of the room. He started to approach her when his keen eyes saw another person close by, a woman. He wasn’t able to identify her at first. He stepped closer as the woman turned her face his way. Talia Winters! he identified immediately. The station’s commercial telepath was the person her considered a woman of his dream. He was more than just surprised now. He felt a pang of jealousy. He had tried every line in his book he couldn’t even make her look at him without the annoyed expression. And now of all people the person that won over him was the person that had never even be nice to Winters. Ivanova and Ms.Winters? What the hell is going on here? He wasn’t the only that know the Commander of the station’s hatred for telepath and Psi-Corps. In fact he knew that the telepath had been trying to be friend with her, but she had brushed her off every time, well as far as he know. He quickly grabbed a seat at some table that they would not be able to notice him out of this crowd. Ivanova was starting to enjoy herself, the dark corner protected her and her companion from the pry eyes. The telepath was definitely enjoying herself. At first they were just sitting side by side at the table with the Commander’s arm draped over her shoulder. As the night progressed she was finally being pulled up on her lap, and that she had no problem with whatsoever. The new song was going to start, a group of delta squadron’s pilots went on stage. Five of them, each set up the microphone in front of them. They settled themselves in a chair that they brought from off stage. The crowd started to cheer and a few people whistled. The song started. A sound of guitar vibrated in the air. Since he knew of no one that the Commander involved with, but now the little hope that he had was gone. He had not actually see Talia Winters up close and personal yet. That because she had only showed up in Observation Dome once, and they were busy with Ivanova’s series of orders. He didn’t get a chance to take a look at her. A lot of his colleague said that she was stunning, but she was somewhat of an Icequeen. Well, a lot of people said that about Ivanova also.
