Another one in this series. I think I killed off this series when I had a rather long e-mail disscussion with my beta reader Christina. I had a long list of things I could do to him... Anway, Here it is. Comment. Tell me what you think. I love e-mail. I love comments. I like flames. I love Constructive critism. I love unadulterated praise. Stuff<\legal> Thanks to Allison, Christina and Kate. You know who you are. An Intimate Moment with David and David III months David Sheridian held little David Sheridian in his arms. He loved his grandson. It had taken all of Delenn's efforts to get David off Earth after the murder of his wife. Clark's men had kept such tight survalliance on him that it was near impossible to get him off, but his son's wife had done it. David smiled down at his name sake. He looked like a Sheridian, except for his eyes and the headbone, and the noticeable lack of eyebrows. He jiggled little David in his arms. David knew he could only stay with his son's family for a couple of days so he treasured every second. This second happened to be a very nice one at that. The three month old in his arms gave a yawn, before opening green eyes to the world. Yep, this kid was definetly related to him. "hey little guy, what's up? You know who I am?" The baby had the classic I'm hungry, where's the mommy look on his face."I'm your Grandpa. Yes I am." David opened his mouth, breathed deep and let out a scream. "Okay, I get the hint. Bottle time. Your daddy left some ready before he left." David walked over to the kitchen area and retrieved the bottle. David's eyes widen while his mouth opened. His grandfather took the time to shove the bottle into his mouth. David made sucking noises while drinking the bottle. He sounds just like his father did when he was baby. David started wandering the path of memory lane only to be dragged out of it when he heard a little snore. This kid was due in for some problems when he got older. Snoring, at this age, not good. David lost track of the number of times his wife had kicked him out of the bedroom and onto the living room couch because of his snoring. It wasn't funny.... Though he suspected John never had the same problem. His son seemed perfect with the woman he had married... To be bad he couldn't have seen it. A tear started to trickle down his cheek. At least he got to see his grandson before he died. David knew he was going to die... And soon. He hadn't told John this, that he was terminally ill. David just wanted to be an ordinary grandfather with his grandson. Lizzy's kids were fine but he saw them more often. He rarely saw John... The snoring quieted. David was now sleeping quietly in his arms. He liked the feel of his grandson there. It was a feeling he would happily carry to his grave... He put the sleeping baby in his bassinet and watched him... just watched him... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'd like to speculate as to how David died, and I do have that part in motion, but it is not directly dealing with David, so it'll haveto be a seperate piece.
