From: "Julie" Subject: Fan Fiction - The Babylonian Cycle: The Tale of the Stuffed Bear Date: Tue, 6 Jul 1999 17:50:22 -0400 This is another tale from the Babylonian cycle, a recounting of the = events in Babylon 5 as told from an Arthurian perspective. This is a = humorous tale about the stuffed bear that Ivonava gave Sheradin. No = spoilers to speak of. ********** The Babylonian Cycle The Tale of the Stuffed Bear And it came to pass in the days of Sheradin the Great and Ivonava the = Strong that a store was opened upon the great station of Babylon 5. And = this store sold items of novelty, that it might make a profit. But = Sheradin was greatly displeased with this store, and after much = fighting, was granted permission to close it. Yet before the store was closed, Ivonava did try to jest with Sheradin, = by giving him a stuffed bear. And this bear wore a small jacket, with = the initials "J.S." upon the front and "Bearbalon 5" upon the back. And = Sheradin the Great was not amused. And he did take the bear, and threw = it out an airlock, into the void of space. And there are many rumors as to the fate of the stuffed bear. Some say = that a patrol did see the bear and did destroy it with its lasers. And = some say that it was not destroyed, and it drifted in the void of space = for many years, and was lost beyond the rim. And some say it was found = and given to David, son of Sheradin the Great and Delenn the Wise. And = some say that Lorien the First did take it in the golden chariot with = which he claimed Sheradin, twenty years after his return from = Za=92ha=92dum. And some say that none of these things came to pass, and = that they are all rumor, and have no basis in fact. But perhaps the bear = would disagree. But alas! that is another Tale for another day. ********** Julie :) Come to the Procrastinator's Aid!
