I wrote it after getting a sad spell. It is about John and the end of his 20 years. Laura Hale fluffer@prodigy.com Decent into Dark...(1/1) Decent into the dark... Decent into tock... The lonely cry in the night that the soul of none can answer... That only two would care to answer... But if these two had a desire to answer... Decent into dark... Decent into tock... Lorien said the answer so long ago. In the past, when answers mattered... Slipping deeper, the walls are to slick to climb... A child's voice cries out in the background. Slip into the dark Slip into the spiteful caress of tock. He can feel the hatful hands of death pull on the lids of his eyes. Damn the universe! I wish it dead! The caress of darkness and the caress of cold air... When's the last time you felt that star killer? Have the arms of the fearful kept you warm at night? Or were the cold voices of terror... Cold voices of terror... Enough to chill your bone, and keep the warmth of the fearful away from that witch you cherish? Darkness, it's the day of creation can't you see? Camelot in all it's magnifient glory... Give in to tock... To grasp on to tick only kills the fearful ones more. Hold the pain the men in red say... We want what you possess... The eternal soul struggled... Free from the cold dark body... Decent into the dark Decent into the cold Comitting to tock that which you love most. Free from the clinging things, the cold wet salty ocean spray from oceans not of home... Decent into tock. Slipping to tock... A delivery to tock, A man's eternal soul With lap dog'd on his heels, Tock takes the gift and runs... The eternal soul must rest... It must be free... Or must be squelched... But it cannot be for promises were made an eternity ago... Kill eternity, live for now! Tock opens his arms and realeses the rain bow.... It will fly again soon.... [end]
