I am afraid.
 Why?
 I am afraid for the fate of people for whom I care.
 Why?

These are people who are not real
 People who were created by someone who is.
 People who are portrayed by actors,
 Those who make a living being other people.
 Being people who are not real.

Yet I am afraid.
 Why?
 I am afraid for my own survival.
 Why?

These are people who are not real
 People who speak words written by someone who is.
 The words bring the fear,
 The words make me think about myself,
 Trying to be someone who is not real.

I am afraid.
 Why?
 I am afraid for the future.
 Why?

These are people who are not real
 Portrayed by actors...who make them real.
 Make me worry, make me feel, make me afraid
 For them, for the characters,
 With real emotions
 Real reactions
 Real actions
 But these are people who are not real.

And I am still afraid.
