"Howdy, miss! Some fancy place you got here! I don't get out much!" "Mr. Cole, you needn't yell!" "Feels like hell! Where's the restroom?!" "That way, sir! Hurry before a line forms!" "You got it, miss! Have a nice day!" "Thank you, sir!" "I'd recommend against it! Kills the brain cells! See ya!" Gordon Cole arrives in the alien section. "Kosh?! That you?!" "Mr. Cole. You still wear the hearing aids." "For business purposes mostly! People tend to laebel a shouting deaf man as harmless! Let's me get in close! People don't whisper around me! It's an advantage I don't want to give up!" "Excellent, Mr. Cole. The brightest object conceals as much as the the darkest." "Sharp one there! Gotta write that down! The rest of the boys will get a kick out of it! Tell you the truth, these gills and brain modifications were enough for me! Not too sure I'm human anymore! And being alive a few hundred years doesn't help either! Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the oppurtunity to serve!" "Perhaps we should move to my quarters." "Right with you! Sebastian gonna be there?!" "No. He has other business." "Good! Man gives me the creeps! The ride over was not too pleasant I must say! Felt he was looking through me the whole time! And not liking what he saw! But the pie was excellent! Gotta tell the boys about it!" "Frightened, Mr. Cole? Even after your time on Earth?" "Well with that business, I didn't know enough to be scared! Information was at a severe lack! A little more would have helped us avoid that peck of trouble!" "Mr. Cooper was warned. One on this station has been warned as well. Perhaps he will not follow his emotions like Mr. Cooper did." "Well Coop is in a better place now! Anyway, this other fella what I'm here about?! Your Minbari friends were a little vague!" "No. I need you to watch someone else. The man in between." "In between?! He stuck somewhere?! Doesn't sound too pleasant!" "He is where he is by choice." "Bad guy, huh?! He here on Babylon 5?!" "No. You will receive all the information you need." "It won't be that little guy will it?! He danced around like a bee! Had a damn tough time figuring him out! Coop understood better! My dream was a tad funkier! Never figured out the penguin! But that situation was solved so I don't dwell on it!" "You will have more corporeal contacts. On Earth my regular agents would have been spotted." "I know what you mean! Love those bones! Could come in handy one day! I'm sure your people could manage it!" "..." "Well these gills are getting itchy!" "Report all you see of the people and land. You know how. You may go now." "See you later!" Gordon Cole leaves Babylon 5. "Gee, miss, I see you're still here! I'd talk to someone about this! Here's some spoo! Tasty stuff!" "Good bye, sir." "Nice smell to this place!" ----------------------------------------------- name = John T. "What a dump! Looks like a tornado hit this whole planet! You Vorlons and your Minbari pals sure took a supreme disliking to this place!" "It is a dwelling of great evil." "I bet! I feel itchy! And I can't scratch too easy in this Buck Rogers suit." "Their loses were many." "The Shadows?! I can understand it! How'd you and the Minbari do?!" "The Minbari suffered greatly." "And you?!" "We did not." "Hmm! Well, I'm here and alive! Guess this is gonna work! Where to now?!" "There. Beyond the storm." "Yikes! Looks like hell!" "Exactly." "Oops! Don't wanna step in that! Glad I can't smell this place!" Gordon Cole arrives in the city. "You sure they can't see me?! Or hear me?! In all the caverns, I must carry for miles!" "You aren't talking. I can hide you for a time. The Shadows have a great weakness to telepaths. You are safe for now. But you must move quickly." "This is all for the Shadows?! Hard to imagine they need someplace like this! They have jobs and families and homes and supermarkets?! How do they go to the bathroom?!" "This city is for their agents. This part houses their human agents. You can breathe here." "Whew! What the hell?! Humans live here?! Looks cozy! They really keep up the place! How'd this happen?!" "I will show you." "Well golly, Kosh! This is some messed up sh-!" "You must hurry." "Right! Down this way! I can hear them!" Gordon Cole arrives at the ledge. "My god there must be millions!! The noise!! I can't turn it off!! But not just humans!! I can feel different ones!! Aliens!! I don't recognize them all!! They're from all over the galaxy!! I can feel something else!! But not in the city!! Down there!! My god!! What is he?!!" "It is true! The first one is here! I remember the feeling!" "First what?!! He's older than the rest!! Older than this planet!! How can he be?!! How does he live down there?!! Must be miles down!! Why is he here?!! He's waiting for someone isn't he?!! The fighting!! He doesn't like it!! My god!! Its freezing!! I think they know!! Kosh!!!" Gordon Cole leaves Zha'ha'dum. "Gee, Kosh! Gonna feel that one for a week! What did we see?!" "All we needed to. You have seen more than you will ever know. You may have saved more than you will ever know." "Why can't I remember?! What was that place?!" "I will remember for all of us. My life may be forfeit. Yours will not." "That's right kind! But I wouldn't worry, Kosh! From the looks of this place, I'm glad I can't remember squat! Where to now?!" "To Babylon 5." "Not Home?!" "I alone will know. One death is enough." "How's that?!" Gordon Cole arrives on Babylon 5. "Miss, you gotta get a transfer!" "Mr. Cole." "Great smell! Time to hit the head! Then some spoo! See ya, miss!" "Good bye, sir." "I'll try it out! Thanks!" -----------------------------------------------
