This is the way I think of Morden, with his real personality breaking into his thoughts once in a while and being firmly quenched by the Shadow him. ____________________________________ Morden's Poem I walk in the shadow of my shadowy friends I've grown unaccustomed to light That which revolts me is cherished by most That which I love sparks fright. A man in the shadows is a man unseen, A man ignored by the light A man of the Shadows, such as I, is a dark reminder of night. The humans fear me, and rightly so; sometimes I fear me, too. When a man's got shadows inside of him, It's hard to tell what he'll do. I meant no harm, no disrespect To my masters -- that is, my friends. I owe my life to the spidery ones 'Til the universe crumbles and ends. (Blackness my mind, blackness my soul -- Where is the Morden I was? Better a man be ground to dust than be helpless in what he does.) The End Jackie May <102454.540@compuserve.com>
