Written by: Myles Steffan Barfield As the sun rose on the desert planet a man stood on a hill watching the beautifull event on the horizon. His long robes blew with the wind as he stood silently, holding his staff. "Lord, if today is the day, then let it be so. Protect us father and guide us on our quest." Thomas prayed softly as he closed his eyes. It had been over two years since he had taken this quest for the Grail over, back where it all began, his new life. "Thomas, Thomas!" his young apprentice was yelling as he ran up the side of the hill. Thomas slowly opened his eyes smiling he looked down at the young man, "Yes Joab, what have you found?" his said softly. Joab shot up the hill coming to stand beside him, breathing hard he said "I've been speaking with G'Kar back on Babylon 5," he stopped to catch his breath. Thomas cut in putting his hand on Joab's shoulder "Just slow down, that's it catch your breath. Now, what've you found?" Joab standing a little straighter finaly said "G'Kar has told me that he believes he knows where the grail is, Thomas, he believes it's on Z'Ha'Dum!" he looked shocked, and as if the quest was over. Thomas again looked at the sun rise, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. Joab waiting impatiently for an answer finaly asked "Is our quest over, I mean there is no way we can get to Z'Ha'Dum!" Thomas turned and started walking down the hill to the small house they had been living in "Joab, prepare the shuttle, were going to Babylon 5," he stopped and smiled at Joab "then on to Z'Ha'Dum." he started walking again. "Lo-Debar, your cleared for landing" the womans voice came across the com. Thomas couldn't help but get excited to be back, it was just as big and beautifull as he had remembered "Joab did you set the apointments up?" he asked calmly. Joab checked his book "Yes, you will meet with G'Kar at 2100 today." he looked out of the window of their ship taken aback by the beauty of the station "And you will meet with Deuce at 0500 tomorrow mourning," he said the name with distaste "Thomas he didn't sound very happy about having to be up at that hour." he added. Thomas smiled "Awe yes, you will find Deuce to be a stereotypical scoundral." he grabbed Joab's arm tightly "We may be at the end of our search my friend, and we have come full circle to do so." he said leaning back in his seat as he landed the ship. Steppeing off he took in a deep breath, the familier smell of the station bringing back memories, good and bad. And just as he had expected Amassador Delen was standing in the waiting area, watching for him. "Amassador, I hardly reckognized you with the...." he stopped not knowing how to finish. Delen smiled seeing he was uncomfortable "Yes the change, few of my old friends do reckognize me. Seeker Thomas, this is Captain Sheridan," she gave them a chance to shake hands "he will help you however he can I am sure." she said smiling at the Captain. "Yes, listen I'd love to stay and chat but I really need to get back to my duties," Sheridan started to walk off and stopped "If there is anything we can do, just let us know." he said, turning and walking off. "Where is Sinclare?" Thomas asked Delen softly, as they made their way through the crowded room. She smiled "Ambassador Sinclare is now on my homeworld, he is needed there much more then here." Joab ran up to them with both arms filled with bags "Thomas, I have our stuff, I hope it's all here." he said worried. Thomas turned around and took some of the bags "Oh, Joab, I'm sorry, why didn't you wait for help?" he said, feeling embarrased. Delen held up her hand and two of her people quicklycame to their aide "Please carry their bags to their quarters, I will be taking them to eat," she looked at Thomas "I'm sure your hungry, yes." "Starved" Thomas said luaghing. Delen looked delighted "Wonderfull, I'm exited to hear about your adventures, and what brought you back here!" -----------------------------------------------
