Holt Greetings to one and all, This little thing popped out of my head while my brother and I were having a heated discussion about Anna Sheridan. So, if you actually think the gal is innocent in the whole Za'ha'dum thingy, I wouldn't read on, because I can't stand her! Holt beckihblumer@fuse.net The blustery wind of another cold autumn day whiped the auburn red hair of one Anna Keller as she made her way from the University to the monorail. She wasn't all that pretty, thought her features where striking, shinning auburn hair, peach skin and bright brown eyes, which were complimented by the dark brown pant suit she wore this day. Ah, to be free! It was fall break at the University of Paris, and Anna was going to her best friend Lizzy's for Thanksgiving. The Eiffel Tower rose in the distance as she boarded the monorail. As she buckled her safety belt in, two other people took the seats next to her. He was a handsome looking man, with black hair and a pleasant face. And with him was a beautiful young woman, with short honey blonde hair and big blue eyes. She smiled to Anna and sat down. "Hello." the woman said as she leaned forward so she could talk around her companion. "Hi, I'm Anna, where are you headed?" Anna said, amused by the woman's forwardness. "I'm Carrie Morden, and this is my husband, Daniel." Carrie said, patting the hand of her husband," We're heading to Breist, Daniel has family there." "Oh, really." "Yes, where are you off to?" "Oh, not very far, just to the other side of town, I'm meeting a friend of mine and we're going to her house for Thanksgiving." Anna told her. The monorail lurched and the com screen registered Anna's stop, so bidding Carrie and Daniel good bye, she stood up and moved toward the door. And as she did, she could have sworn she heard a voice behind her say, 'good-bye, Anna.' Dispite the oddness of the meeting, Anna soon forgot it as she headed for a small cafe. "Anna!" it was Lizzy, her shoulder length platinum blonde hair shinning under the lights. "Lizzy, my God, you look better then ever!" Anna exclaimed as she took her seat, and the coffee Lizzy had ordered for them. "So, how's school?" Lizzy asked. "Oh, the same. But I am going to get to go on a real dig next semester." Anna informed her cohort in crime. "That sounds great! Where is it?" "On, Mars. I doubt we will find anything, but, you never know." she said with great drama. "Speaking of finds, have I ever got one for you!" Lizzy spoke in a hushed voice, as though it was the most important secret EVER. "Well, what is it?" she asked, intrigued. "My brother, John. Handsomer then ever and just back from Military Academy." her voice cracked with excitement. "Oh, I HAVE to meet him." "Oh, trust me, you will!" John Sheridan was tired. He had just spent the longest two hours of his life on a bullet train headed for his parents farm. Oh, but it was good to be home! He walked up the lane and opened the door, shouting; I'm BACK! His mother and father hugged him to pieces, he knew that they had missed him. Then, with a twinkle in her eye, Elaine Sheridan told John, with great ceremony, that there was a surprise for him out back. Curious, he walked out onto the porch to see what this mysterious 'surprise' was. On the lawn, he could see his sister Lizzy and another girl were playing with the Collie puppies that had just been born. The other girl stole John's attention. She was striking, with auburn hair and a slim figure. "John!" Lizzy called out to him as both women ran up the steps, "John, my I introduce my best friend." "Hello, John. I'm Anna." At that exact moment, across all the stars between Earth and Minbari, a young accolade dropped the crystal pyramid she was meditating on. She yelled as a shard pierced her skin and brought forth blood. Her friend came running. "Oh, Delenn. Now what are we to do?" Mayan said as she bent to help her friend pick up the pieces. But there are some pieces that can't be picked up, because, they are shadow and substance.
